That’s why lessons with me are so much more than a weekly meeting.
Our lessons focus on establishing a strong technical base through a mix of scales, exercises, and etudes. By exploring renowned works—from solo Bach to iconic violin concerti—we develop essential musicianship skills and cultivate effective practice routines.
Beyond lessons, I offer a monthly studio class on select Thursday evenings for students to perform for each other and receive feedback. Multiple studio recitals per year provide even more opportunities to hone performance skills, and I coach the most advanced students to prepare an annual solo or joint recital.
We set goals and timelines to achieve those goals. With knowledge of the professional world, I can advise students and parents on their career choice and provide step-by-step counsel on the path to college in music.
Mastering the violin is more than learning an instrument—it’s growth. My lessons help students build skill and discipline, showing how excellence shapes their lives.
Advanced Violin Lessons
This could change your life …
Students come to me to develop a skill and leave with a sense of confidence and purpose.
My mission is to empower students to reach their goals through the pursuit of musical excellence.
For my advanced students, that means taking their skills farther, auditioning for local youth orchestras, and preparing for a career in music. For the violinist serious about developing technique and pursuing ambitious goals, standard weekly violin lessons aren’t enough.
Without a clear goal and a plan for how to get there, lessons can fall into a rut.
Without a community of likeminded students, motivation wanes.
Without performance opportunities, new skills lie dormant.
Without mentorship, students may never know their true potential.
But…
I offer more than violin lessons.
I offer mentorship.
